Too freaking cold so we loaded and headed for Lake Norman early march where it was 70-80 degrees.

No leaves yet but 30 degrees warmer than back home in Ohio

Not afraid to travel the Velocity gets around.

Charleston SC City Marina for our first and only salt water trip so far.

Over nighted at Marina where we looked pretty small.

Took off for Lake Norman on the way home to Flush out the salt. Just an excuse to break up the trip home and have a swim and a drink on the water.

I sold one of my old drag bikes on eBay, which was being delivered to New York… so we took the boat too.

I scheduled the trip so we would be there for the NYC poker Run.

Lake Erie is 2 hrs and Put in Bay is a great hangout.

The Boardwalk is a great place to eat/drink.

Nice sandy beaches too. This is over near Mentor at the entrance to Fairport Harbor.

We have some great local lakes as well. Salt Fork State Park Boaters Beach is a great over nighter.

The place is desolate in the fall so we have the place to ourselves only 45 minutes from home.

Buckeye Lake is the Party Lake an hour away, which get most of our money. 13 bars on the water w/live music 5 nights a week.

Just up the Muskingum River, off the Ohio River in Marietta, is a little wine shop with a dock near the first lock and dam.

Big enough to travel/cruise/sleep on comfortably, yet small enough to trailer easily, It’s a great all around boat.
